Mothers' Club of Amador County
The Mothers' Club of Amador County was founded in 2002 to create an environment of support, education, and socialization for mothers of young children and their families. Over the years the club has expanded to include all moms regardless of the age of their children, even pregnant moms who will get meals delivered to their door once their baby is born.
As their children grow, mothers can utilize the network of moms for information on parenting, activities, playdates as well as participate in family field trips to the various zoos, bounce-houses, and holiday parties. Mothers are invited to impromptu activities like snow-play dates and hikes and kept informed of local classes or events related to parenting. Fathers and grandparents also partake in Moms' Club activities and are always welcome and encouraged at all Mothers' Club functions.
The Mothers' Club of Amador County is funded through a variety of fund-raising efforts so it is free to all members. The club welcomes new members and invites all parents to come check it out.
Joining the Mothers' Club of Amador County is FREE and easy.

The Mothers’ Club of Amador County presently brings together 140 local moms, their children and families. We are genuinely grateful for all of our community partnerships that enable us to flourish. First 5 of Amador generously provides us with the use of the Margaret Dalton Children’s Center, located at 975 Broadway in Jackson, for mingles and various other events. This is made possible with the generous funding provided by the Amador Community Foundation to cover the insurance costs. We operate under their umbrella and rely on their administrative support for our accounting functions, as well. The Amador Community Foundation is an extraordinary organization that has also provided us with a grant for a $500 scholarship fund available to our members who may need financial assistance to take part in activities that have a fee. Thanks to our partners and our incredible membership, we continue to grow and offer more to the mothers and families of Amador County, which in turn continues to strengthen and build our amazing community.
We host a staggering array of free events, play dates, play groups, monthly Mommy Mingles, holiday family parties, field trips, classes and guest speakers, as well as offering free meals for our member families with new babies. We also have a walking/jogging group, and we offer an online forum for members to connect and discuss common interests, share resources and provide emotional support to one another. We are a 100% volunteer organization with a 100% volunteer board.
